i see a single problem...when i jack car or truck and unmount shock, arm will slide lil little bit down but i sense that there is lil bit of compression on spring. but its typical likely.
They seem to be A different reasonably priced coilover established which is really well-liked with the VW Little ones. It appears to have pretty good opinions, however I have not extensively investigated them still.
Decreased the jack to enable the spring arm to hold. Springs will likely be loose at this point within their basket. To set preload and shocks, jack the spring arm back again up until finally the springs them selves are no more loose within their mounting basket.
Do the job great on course but I think you 2-way need to be more than enough. I like to recommend to reinforce the rear strut tops (I do not Feel you need to bolster the whole rear turrets)
Identify the whole travel on the shock absorber using the shock producer's catalog; or by pulling the shock shaft to the entire extension posture and measuring the length of the chrome shaft. Frequently, the shock need to be compressed 40% - 50% of its vacation at ride peak.

I am almost as low as they are going to go while in the rear, and have in excess of an inch to go during the front. It is really absolutely streetable, IMO. Years back again I'd GC coilovers and H&R sports activities/Bilsteins on another 3 collection. The GCs had been noisy, And that i ignorantly chose a spring amount that was not well suited into a DD. The SoloWerks have to date been Totally sounds cost-free.
Great!! That is what I'm setting up Later on! Did you reinforce the best on the mount too? Upon very first inspection, I discovered that the T7 sequence functions new and improved changes equally for their prior styles and other competing makes. The first observation I created just after unpacking was the redesigned reduce shock mount.
The damper controls both equally compression and enlargement from the spring and Handle arm as your tires go throughout different street surfaces.
I'd set cash to the coilovers i advised maintaining with or beating your $2000 set over a monitor.
